Welcome to Legacy Heart Center. Your appointment with a cardiologist at Legacy Heart Center gives you access to some of the most advanced treatment available in North Texas to treat potential heart problems. Our physicians and staff are dedicated to our mission, which is to exceed the expectations of our patients and our referring physicians by providing the best possible cardiovascular care for our patients in a caring and responsive environment.

You can expect a thorough evaluation of your cardiovascular health along with specific recommendations on steps you can take for better heart health.

If you have chest pain or other critical symptoms, the hospital is the best place to receive treatment. Please do not come to our office as this will only delay your treatment. If you experience symptoms, you should either call 911 or have someone take you to the nearest emergency room.

Office Hours

Our offices are open from 7:30 am – 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. We are closed on weekends and all major holidays. All of our visits are by appointment only; we cannot see "walk-ins."

We require a 24 hour notice for any cancellations. Otherwise you may be charged a cancellation fee which is not covered by insurance. If you need to cancel or change your appointment, please contact our Scheduling Department and please let us know as soon as possible. Our Physicians and Staff

Our physicians focus on cardiovascular problems only. You will need to have a primary care physician for all of your other routine medical problems.

A Legacy Heart Center physician is always on call after hours. If you need a physician during this time, simply dial our main number 469-326-3400 and the answering service will page the on-call doctor.

Our physicians utilize Nurse Practitioners to supervise stress tests and/or see patients on occasion. Our Nurse Practitioners are specially trained in cardiovascular management. There may be occasion when your physician wants you to see a Nurse Practitioner or have your stress test performed by the Nurse Practitioner. Your visit or test will then be reviewed by your physician.

Our nursing staff is all cardiovascular trained nurses. They receive hundreds of calls each week. Due to our volume of daily calls, every attempt will be made to return your call in a timely manner.

Scheduling

All scheduling of tests and appointments are handled through our Scheduling Department. You may reach them directly at 469-326-3440.

Children are not permitted in the exam rooms or testing area. If you must bring your child, he/she will need to be supervised by an adult in the Main Lobby.

Insurance and Billing

If you have a question regarding a statement of a claim that was sent to your insurance company please call our Business Office at 469-326-3434.

Legacy Heart Center will file your insurance as a courtesy for our patients; however, patients are responsible for paying their deductibles, co-pays, and any portion of the claim that is not covered by the insurance company.

All patients are asked to inform check-in if they have changed their insurance.
