David Schwartz, MD, FACC is the co-founder of Legacy Heart Center. He is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease and specializes in diagnostic and interventional cardiology.
Dr. Schwartz is active in the medical community as a member of the Texas Medical Association, the American Medical Association, the Collin County Medical Society, the American College of Cardiology and the Clinical Council on Cardiology.
He received his fellowship in cardiovascular disease from the University of Colorado Health Science Center in Denver in 1981. He served his residency in internal medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, where he also received his MD degree. He holds a bachelor of arts in Zoology from the University of Texas at Austin.
